Our Mission
We strongly believe that proper education and interactions with rural healthcare workers along with providing medical supplies will be fundamental in controlling the spread of COVID-19 in rural India.
Currently, in India, COVID-19 is spreading at a daily rate of 400,000 new cases and over 3,000 deaths. Urban areas are currently experiencing the largest spike of cases and the spread has reached to rural villages. Due to the high infection rates, the medical system is overwhelmed and hospitals are not able to provide sufficient care. In villages, rural healthcare workers now have to provide community education and the necessary assistance in situations that they did not anticipate. In order to tackle the challenges in their communities, rural healthcare workers need to be eligible for vaccination, receive appropriate COVID education, along with access to basic medical supplies.
